WHY YOU SHOULD HIRE A PHOTOGRAPHER BEOFRE CHOOSING YOUR VENUE

Why I, a wedding photographer of 5 years, recommend to all my current and future brides to find their photographer BEFORE they find their venue.

LIGHTING IS EVERYTHING.

You can find the most perfect venue, and yet the lighting will determine whether your pictures turn out how you envisioned or not. 

For example: I photograph a venue that everyone loves, but the lighting there is so bad that I have to warn my clients that their ceremony photos, unless lit by flash (which not everyone wants) will be very noisy (grainy) and have weird tones.

Lighting can change how your skin looks, how your dress looks, everything. 

My solution, hire your photographer first.

Then ask your photographer their thoughts on the venues that you have on your list.

The photographer might have even shot there before and can give you a rundown on how the venue is, the best spots for your photos, and the best way to set up your ceremony.

As a photographer, I want my clients to get the best photos they can out of their special day, and if I could help them pick a venue with great lighting (in their budget) before they choose one, it would help with so many dilemmas that sometimes happen during their big day.
